These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Chitchat, including our website, mobile applications, and related services. By using Chitchat, you agree to these Terms.
1. Operator
Chitchat is operated by Afterglow Interactive & Technology Limited, Unit 909, Prosperity Millennia Plaza, 663 King's Road, Quarry Bay, Hong Kong. Contact: support@afterglow.now.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Chitchat.
3. The service
Chitchat provides topic-based one-to-one text conversations. Match availability, match quality, response timing, and service continuity depend on user activity and operational conditions.
4. Accounts
You are responsible for providing accurate registration information, maintaining account security, and all activity that occurs through your account.
5. Paid access and billing
Chitchat may offer paid subscriptions, paid access, or other paid features. Billing, renewal, cancellation, and refund handling may be governed by Apple, Google, or another payment provider when purchases are made through that platform.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use Chitchat to harass, threaten, exploit, abuse, deceive, impersonate, send illegal or harmful content, interfere with the service, scrape the platform, or attempt to reverse engineer the service.
7. Safety systems
Chitchat uses automated safety and abuse prevention systems. Message delivery is not guaranteed. We may block or interrupt messages and conversations where safety thresholds are triggered.
8. Reports, blocking, and enforcement
Users may report safety concerns, abusive behavior, or policy violations through in-app reporting tools where available, or by contacting support@afterglow.now. Chitchat is planned to include tools that allow users to avoid or block unwanted users. We may review reports, limit matching, restrict features, suspend accounts, or take other action where reasonably necessary to protect users and the service.
9. Conversation deletion
Chitchat is designed so that conversation content is deleted after a chat ends. Limited operational, safety, fraud, and legal records may still be retained where reasonably necessary.
10. Availability
We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.
11. Intellectual property
Chitchat and its related software, branding, and content are owned by Afterglow Interactive & Technology Limited or its licensors.
12. Disclaimers and liability
Chitchat is provided on an as-is and as-available basis to the extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, Afterglow Interactive & Technology Limited will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect users, the platform, or our legal position.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after updated Terms take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
